About this project
‘Kanso’ is a word of Japanese origin totally in line with the Studio’s philosophy, as it means simplicity and absence of excess elements.
Thus, this project proposes a minimal dwelling inspired by simplicity, where anything unnecessary appears. It consists of prefabricated houses with high quality and design standards that can be placed on any plot or even replace the classic bungalows in luxury campsites. To this end, two minimum housing models are proposed (1 and 2 bedrooms respectively) with tight dimensions that facilitate their transport but spacious and well used interior spaces. In addition, the construction systems have been meticulously studied to facilitate mass production, reducing deadlines and optimising costs without renouncing a refined aesthetic down to the smallest detail.
